Certified School Psychologist

Nicole Carrozza is a Certified School Psychologist specializing in providing individual and group therapy to children, adolescents, and families with a variety of concerns including Anxiety, Mood Disorders, Disruptive Behavior Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Executive Functioning.

Dr. Carrozza practices an integrative approach to therapy incorporating principles from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) including mindfulness and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in her treatment. Nicole is committed to providing treatment that is comprehensive, individualized and evidence-based. With nearly 10 years of experience in schools, Dr. Carrozza is proficient in collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including school, psychiatrists, and other professionals to best support each patient’s needs.

Dr. Carrozza holds a Psy.D. in school Psychology with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis from St. John’s University.  She earned her Bachelor’s degree with a double major in Early Childhood/ Special Education and Psychology from CUNY Brooklyn College. Prior to her time as a School Psychologist, Dr. Carrozza spent several years as a special education teacher and educational director. In addition to the New View Psychology Group, Dr. Carrozza currently practices as a School Psychologist working with students with developmental disabilities.
